Eddie Ross and Bunny Williams used pieces from her tabletop collection, like her Paris Flea Market Flatware, Gold Star Dinnerware and Gold Rimmed Glasses with found antiques.

Christmas colors clash with most interiors, so pick a palette that enhances your rooms instead of defaulting to traditional hues. We used a gorgeous periwinkle blue, mixed with purples, and opaline. With a heavy dose of gold and silver, it all comes together beautifully.

Pair high and low fabrics to create the modern mix—buy an inexpensive main cloth, then splurge on a custom topper. On my table, the ikat print adds graphic contrast to Bunny’s Isabella floral from Lee Jofa; grosgrain ribbon trim adds a finished feel.

Reinvent your go-to china by layering in new elements. On my table, dinner plates from Bunny’s Gold Star collection add a festive feel to handmade chargers and my own antique English salad plates. Remember—when it comes to setting a modern mix table, repetition is power. It can give even the most peculiar element purpose.

Pair simple and elaborate flatware that works well together. Here I used my own vintage forks and knives with pieces from Bunny’s Paris Flea Market collection. Mixing metals feels fresh.

A hand-embroidered monogram on fine linen napkins adds instant history to a table. It might not be yours, but you’re still part of the family. Roses, amaryllises and berries make a no-fail mix.

Mixing glassware lets your personality shine. Here I paired Bunny’s Gold Rimmed glasses?with my own French opaline goblets.

Carved reindeer from Bunny’s collection?lend woodland charm to the table. Embellish them to suit your style.

Add a pinch of glamour with saltcellars, shakers and pepper mills, like fancy jewels for the table. Fill them with colorful salts like Pink Himalayan.

Plants bring lush greenery to a table and trim costs but cutting down on flowers.

Layer lighting on a table with candlesticks in different heights and materials. Colorful tapers from Creative Candles carry up the blue; simple bobeches add a festive touch.

Skip the scramble for seats and send guests home happy with place cards that double as parting gifts. On my table, I personalized boxes of white chocolate peppermint bark with glittered letters from Michael’s

Thanks Eddie and Bunny for sharing your gorgeous table with us. What a festive space for enjoying the company of family and friends.?

Some 30 to 40 million mattresses are disposed of every year in the U.S. That’s a lot of mattresses taking up a lot of landfill space. Landfill operators are not fans of trashed mattresses, either, as they are difficult to move around and don’t compact well.
