I love to quilt but sometimes am not in the mood to tackle a big project.？ I think that’；s why I love Mini Quilts so much! It’；s all of the fun of quilting in a smaller (and faster size). If you love making mini quilts or want to venture into the hobby， then you might like some of these Mini Quilt Patterns &； Tutorials.？
I remember the first quilt I made. I was in high school. It was a unit in our sewing class (remember when they had those in school？) and we were tasked with creating a traditional star quilt. I spent so much time stitching up that quilt and still love it even today (complete with it’；s forest green and peach color scheme， any guesses what “；era”； that was？ *wink*). In the years since I’；ve made many more quiltspersonalized new baby gifts， and I’；ve loved each one. I love the process of making a quilt， from the design to the binding.sofa pillow covers
At times though I find myself presses for time and want a quick fix.？ I’；ve started creating mini quilts as a way to enjoy quilting on a smaller scale. Mini quilts can be a variety of sizes and used for so many things from baby doll quilts to table toppers.
Most of the quilt patterns I’；ve found for you today are free， some of them are paid patterns. Personally， I don’；t mind buying a quilt pattern， since it helps to support another Maker’；s business! Enjoy.
The first mini quilt on the list is a really fun one that Amanda of Jedi Craft girl made using my Let’；s Be Mermaids Fabric line. I love her clever take on the mermaid theme. You need to hop on over to her blog and read all about her cat Mufasa!

I was so excited to get another big box of Martha Stewart Craft Supplies.? I mean, who doesn’t like getting big boxes delivered, especially when it’s full of Martha Stewart products! This box was full of Craft Paint in all finishes.? Glitter, satin, pearl, high gloss.? It also had other solutions to add for fabric paint, stucco finish etc….? I was a bit intimidated by those, but I can’t wait to try them out. In addition to the paint, there were several packages of stencils.? SWEET!
It’s January and organizing ideas are all around us! I have been the purging queen, and looking for stylish storage solutions in every room of my home!
